We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Janine Wall for her continued support of the PCC Nursing Program and our students.

As a former full-time nursing faculty member, Janine’s investment in our program did not end when she left the classroom. She continues to give back in ways that support not only our nursing students, but the continued growth and development of our faculty as well.

Integrity is at the very heart of nursing. It is doing what is right even when no one is watching, being accountable for our actions, advocating for those entrusted to our care, and carrying ourselves with honesty and professionalism. These are qualities we strive to instill in our students from the very beginning of their nursing journey. The Nursing Values and Integrity Award provides us the opportunity to recognize students who truly embody those values, and we are so thankful to Janine for continuing to invest in the nurses of tomorrow and the program she helped shape.

PCC's Student Nurses' Association (SNA) was recently recognized as a Premier Blood Partner by the American Red Cross for collecting 62 units of blood in 2025!

We're so proud of our SNA for organizing blood drives and other initiatives that give back to our community!

So proud of Olivia and all she has accomplished! 💙 As our current Student Nurses Association President and one of the many nursing students being pinned next week, she has represented our program with leadership, compassion, and dedication.

From growing as a nursing assistant to becoming an RN on the very same unit, her journey is such an inspiring full-circle moment. We can’t wait to see the incredible nurse she becomes at Duke Health this July.
