The Piedmont Community College Small Business Center was proud to host our first-ever Marketing Summit last week, and what an incredible day it was.
This event brought together leaders in communications, media, tourism, economic development, and small business to share practical insight on how we better market our businesses and our community. Having small business owners in the same room to discuss opportunities and challenges was a meaningful experience.
Thanks to our Speakers and Sponsors:
Gene White, Felicia Holt, and Jalen Blanks from Piedmont Community College shared expert guidance on branding, messaging, and visibility.
Kim Strickland, Person County Government and Bryan Eatmon, Person County Economic Development discussed how strategic communication supports economic growth and investment.
Lea Russell and Kelly Snow from the The Roxboro Courier-Times provided valuable perspective on working with local media to amplify your story.
Dana Blackwell, Roxboro Area Chamber of Commerce, April Spencer, Uptown Roxboro, and Katie Ann Brann, Visit Person County highlighted the power of collaboration in strengthening our regional impact.
Grayson Brann, Piedmont Community College led panel discussions and guided conversations throughout the day.
A special thank you to Vanessa D’Orazio, OD on Coffee for sponsoring this event and helping fuel this first summit. Your support of small businesses and community collaboration makes a meaningful difference.
This summit was about more than marketing, it was about alignment, partnership, and positioning Person County for continued growth.
