Students from Arkansas Lighthouse Charter Schools participated in the 2026 Arkansas Tech University Ag-STEM Experience Camp on the ATU campus in Russellville May 21-22.

Camp participants gained hands-on learning in agriculture, science, technology, engineering and mathematics. They also toured the ATU campus and learned about the post-secondary educational opportunities available at Arkansas Tech.

ATU Department of Agriculture and Tourism faculty members Dr. Justin Killingsworth, Dr. Kayla Marsh, Dr. Gergely Motolai and Dr. Tatum Simms were among the collaborators who organized the camp. They received assistance from current agriculture students at Arkansas Tech.

It’s hard to say goodbye, however, our faculty prepared these graduating students for the real world.

From managing agriculture classrooms to managing hotels, we know that our students are fully equipped with the skills and confidence they need to be successful.

The agriculture and tourism professors would like to thank each student for making this year rewarding and full of memories.

May the FOURTH be with MOO this finals season!📝
