ALPHA CHI TAKEOVER IN DC!🏛️❤️

This summer our sisters Jolee Dillard Corinne Tipton madison albright🤍🤍 spent the summer working in Washington D.C! We are so proud of all of them for devoting their summer to learning more about how our government works and benefiting their futures!💌

Here are some words from each of them about their time!

“Getting to spend my summer on Capitol Hill as an intern in Congresswoman Julia Letlow’s office is an opportunity I am beyond grateful to have experienced! I was blessed to see the legislative process up close, learn what goes on behind the scenes of a congressional office, sit in on meetings and conversations, and meet people from all over the United States. I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who took the time to pour into me, challenge me, and let me learn by doing. Being surrounded by people who genuinely care about public service gave me a completely different perspective on what it means to represent and serve others. I’m grateful to leave D.C. with so many memories, new friendships, a better understanding of public service and Congresswoman Julia Letlow and everyone in her office for giving me the opportunity to be a small part of their team this summer!!!❤️❤️❤️”- 💌Jolee Dillard, Chapter President

“I spent all summer in DC working for Senator Bill Cassidy. While working in the Senate I was responsible for answering constituent calls as well as giving tours to Louisianans who visited DC! We were all paired with a policy advisor who gave us various tasks dealing with legislation currently facing the Senate. Meet Jolee Dillard, our Chapter President! is from Vidalia, Louisiana and is a Political Science Major with a concentration in Pre-Law! Let’s hear from her about her time in Alpha Chi Omega and as Chapter President! 👏

“Alpha Chi has given me so much more than I ever expected from college; it has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, endless support, and a place that truly feels like home. The women in this chapter have continuously inspired me, encouraged me, and helped shape me into the person I am today. The love, sisterhood, and opportunities for growth within Alpha Chi are things I will forever be grateful for, and I truly cannot imagine my college experience without this chapter.

Serving as Chapter President is such an incredible honor and one of the greatest blessings of my college experience. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to serve a chapter that has given me so much while helping strengthen the sisterhood that means so much to all of us. Meet Makayla Washington, our VP Risk Management! .colee is a Marketing Major from Shreveport, LA! Let’s hear about her time in Alpha Chi Omega and on the Executive Board!👏

“Words can’t fully describe how much this chapter means to me. I’m so thankful for the friendships and constant support I’ve found here. Going through recruitment, I was hoping to be part of something bigger than myself, and I’ve truly found that in alpha chi. I have gained so many opportunities to grow, both personally and as a leader, in ways I didn’t expect.

Serving as Vice President of Risk Management has been especially meaningful. Being able to help keep our members safe while still creating a fun and positive environment has been so rewarding. It’s been a really special way to give back to a chapter that has given me so much.
