Investing in the next generation of educators! 🍎📚

Sacramento State was proud to host and support the Teach for California announcement of the Student Teacher Stipend Program, which provides eligible student teachers with $10,000 in financial assistance as they complete their classroom training.

The program helps reduce financial barriers for aspiring educators, making it easier for students to pursue their teaching credentials and enter the classroom.

Who can benefit? Students enrolled in eligible teacher preparation programs who are completing their student teaching.

Lights. Camera. Action. 🎬

What does it take to turn a dream into a career? Sacramento State student Kevin Way Jr. recently directed a commercial with the California Lottery that highlights his journey as an ASL film student, the support he receives from interpreters Lorie and MJ, and his goal of working in Hollywood.

Set to graduate this May, Kevin's story is a powerful reminder of how accessible education helps students pursue their passions, develop their talents and reach their full potential.
