ARC Puente Project The Puente Project at American River College supports students to transfer to four-year colleges and PUENTE Faculty Team:
Rick A.

The Puente Project is a national-award winning program that has helped tens of thousands of educationally disadvantaged students who enroll in four-year year colleges and universities, earn degrees, and return to the community as leaders and mentors to future generations. Begun in 1981, Puente combines accelerated instruction, intensive academic counseling, and mentoring by members of the community. The ARC Puente Project page is for all Puentistas (both former and current students, mentors, and supporters) for the purpose establishing and maintaining connections. This page is also used to post and publicize Puente events, scholarship opportunities, community events, and related issues throughout the academic year. Ramírez- Coordinator/Counselor
