From first steps on campus to crossing the Commencement stage at Golden 1 Center, the Sacramento State College of Business Class of 2026 showed what it means to lead with resilience, ambition, and heart. 🎓💚💛

This Commencement celebrated more than degrees — it celebrated late nights, early mornings, challenges overcome, friendships built, and dreams turned into reality. Every graduate has a story shaped by perseverance, growth, and the support of family, friends, faculty, and mentors who helped make this milestone possible.

This year’s graduates now join a powerful network of more than 40,000 College of Business alumni and over 300,000 Hornets worldwide, carrying forward the values of leadership, innovation, collaboration, and community impact. Whether entering the workforce, launching businesses, continuing their education, or pursuing new opportunities, these graduates are ready to make a difference far beyond Sacramento State.

Meet Reese Snow, one of our dedicated Student Assistants in the Office of Student Engagement! 🌟

Reese is currently studying Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and serves as an Assistant Office Coordinator in the College of Business. Her favorite part about working in OSE is connecting with fellow students and helping answer their questions, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who visits the office. 💚💛

After graduation, Reese hopes to become a CPA and pursue a career in tax accounting. Outside of work and school, she enjoys drawing, painting, and spending time with her two cats, Spoon and Fork 🐱🎨

From Hornet to PhD 🎓🐝

Meet Rahul R. Wamanacharya, a Sacramento State MSBA graduate who is taking his passion for data and analytics to the next level!

Drawn to the program’s strong, real-world curriculum and hands-on learning environment, Rahul developed both his technical expertise and analytical thinking while collaborating with supportive faculty and peers.

Now, he’s headed to the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business to pursue a PhD in Management Information Systems—with a full tuition waiver and assistantship.

Rahul credits the mentorship and guidance from our College of Business faculty as instrumental in his journey and success.

We’re proud to see our students making an impact in research and academia. Congratulations, Rahul! 👏
