Carrington College’s Sacramento campus provides hands-on training in a number of medical programs in California including Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Pharmacy Technology, Dental Hygiene, Medical Billing and Coding, LVN to ADN and more. On May 15th, 15 DA students attended a CEREC Boot Camp hosted by Pacific Dental Services at their Training Facility in Rancho Cordova. Students had the opportunity to learn about CEREC Crowns. CEREC (Chair-side Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) uses revolutionary computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology. It allows dentists to design, fabricate, and place a crown in a single visit. The entire process takes just a few hours. There’s no need for additional appointments or temporary crowns in most cases. Thank you Pacific Dental Services for this learning opportunity!
