In addition to exciting and dynamic programming throughout the year, the CRC Music program includes vocal and instrumental components as well as courses on music, history, theory, and electronic music. The two-year program in music is designed to provide students with a foundation in music theory and history, in addition to allowing a choice of instrumental, keyboard, or vocal performance areas in which they may specialize.

Feature Friday: CRC Music takes Napa! ☀️🎶🍷

Over the summer break, our music students volunteered at a number of concerts in Napa where they got to network and meet with professionals in the industry, from Broadway legend, Lea Salonga, to multi-platinum artist, Loren Allred, and many more!

Additionally, we had our very own Professor of Vocal Music, Omari Tau, and CRC Music alumna, Jianna Eugenio, share the stage in a one of kind concert that celebrated the breathtaking career of NASA astronaut, Donald Pettit.

We thank Broadway and Vine Inc. for the vibrant opportunities that created unforgettable experiences for our students and community.

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable night of music!

Come see an evening of performances by CRC music students, alumni, and community members, as they debut original work composed by music student, Jahzara Scott.

Experience stories of Greek gods, goddesses, and biblical tales from reimagined, unexplored perspectives.

This event is entirely student led with all music composed by Jahzara, and its lyrical content in collaboration with her peers.

✨ CRC Music takes over Napa!!! ✨

This Wednesday, Professor of Vocal Music, Omari Tau, and CRC Music alumna, Jianna Eugenio, perform in Napa for Broadway And Vine’s upcoming concert. The two will share the stage alongside incredible artists to honor the career of NASA Astronaut Don Pettit, and accompany his astounding space photography with out-of-this-world performances under the stars.

Welcome to our final feature of the Spring 2026 semester! Today, we highlight our Instructional Assistant, Andrew Maloney! 🎷

Andrew has been an integral part of our department, assisting our faculty and students for the past three years. We thank him for all his work, and are excited for his next chapter as he pursues his Master’s Degree in Jazz Composition at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music.
