The vision of the Office of Student and Resident Diversity at UC Davis School of Medicine is to create an environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel included and respected, produce a physician workforce that reflects the diversity of the state of California, and achieve educational and clinical standards of cultural competence that ultimately will reduce health disparities and pro

vide the best care for all patients. The K-14 program at the UC Davis School of Medicine works to achieve this goal by inspiring and encouraging scholars to discover and pursue a career in medicine. This is achieved through the variety of programs we offer to high school and community college students throughout the year.
