SVSU Student Association

SVSU Student Association SA is an Association of elected representatives to serve the student body at Saginaw Valley State University.

At the end of each school year the students at Saginaw Valley State University vote to elect a Student Association President and thirty Representatives to serve the following year. Through these individuals, a Speaker of the Association and a group of committee chairs are chosen. Currently, the organization is made up of six main committees: Allocations, Legislative and External Affairs, Student C

Further, the Student Association provides information and leadership to the SVSU student body. The Student Association administers funds to increase campus involvement and contributes to improving the educational experience of the students.

Our Potty Posting Submission form for March has officially opened up! If your RSO has an event coming up in March that you would like included on Potty Postings, be sure to get the information in our form through the link in our bio by February 28th to be included in the March edition!

Potty Postings is a monthly newsletter organized by SVSU's Student Association. It works to spread information about RSOs and departments on campus in a way that we are all familiar with-using the bathroom! Potty Postings are updated monthly and placed on the backs of bathroom stalls.

It's the moment y'all have been waiting for! Our 9th annual Cardinal Ball will be on February 8th from 7 pm to 11 pm in the Conference Center on campus! Tickets will be on sale virtually this year on Monday, January 20th! Be on the lookout for an email to your SVSU email about buying tickets! Tickets will be $17 for singles (one person) and $32 for couples (2 people).

Our Potty Postings Submission form has officially opened for February and will remain open until January 28th, 2025. If your RSO is interested in receiving allocations from SVSA please submit a request to our Finance Director, Jeff Karanja, at [email protected].
