Sisters, as we embark on this new year, we encourage you to reflect deeply within yourselves and reach beyond to elevate your spirituality and create a brighter future for yourselves and those around you.
Faith in ourselves is paramount. It empowers us to live righteously, to self-correct, and to support and care for one another. Life Membership status was established in 1948 at The Grand Boulé in Philadelphia, aimed at strengthening support for our organization while actively serving our communities and assisting our collegiate sorority members. As the Life Member Club celebrates 76 years of dedicated service, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated proudly honors the steadfast commitment of our Life Members who continue to champion this noble mission.

We proudly celebrate Day 6 of Kwanzaa, dedicated to the principle of Kuumba, or Creativity.

From adopting highway locations and beautifying local parks to repainting schools and constructing homes in underserved communities worldwide, Zeta women truly embody the spirit of Kuumba. We strive to beautify the world, leaving it better than we found it.

As we enter the new year, consider partnering with your local Zeta chapter to enhance your community. You can volunteer alongside your sisters or donate to initiatives that align with your goals. We proudly recognize Day 3 of Kwanzaa - the principle of Ujima, Collective Work and Responsibility.

For 104 years, Zeta women have been revitalizing and reshaping communities by bringing much-needed resources and programming to neighborhoods around the globe, from serving mining communities in Pennsylvania during the Great Depression years to realizing the need across continents and being the first organization to plant boots on the ground and charter a chapter in Africa.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated remains ahead of education and scholarship by establishing a national educational foundation providing monies to offset the cost of college and distributing thousands of dollars in scholarships through local chapters. Also, through partnerships with NGOs with core value similarities, such as The March of Dimes, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, The American Cancer Society, Micah’s Voice, and the National Council of Negro Women, Zeta Phi Beta continues to expand its footprint of Ujima transforming lives by being living examples of our organizational principle, Service.

As undergraduates at Howard University, the Founders of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated profoundly understood the Kwanzaa principle of Kujichagulia, or Self-Determination.

Our visionary Founders recognized the need for a new and distinct type of Greek-lettered organization and took bold action to fulfill that vision. For them, Zeta was not merely an organization; it was a transformative movement.

Today, our Zeta sisters around the globe embody this belief as they strive to provide meaningful service, uphold the value of scholarship, set high standards for sisterly love, and exemplify the noble ideals of Finer Womanhood.

Elevating the Bond!! 🤍💙🤍💙 On December 22, 2024, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Gamma Sigma Chapter and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Omega Zeta Chapter joined forces to spread the spirit of love and giving for our 3rd Annual Adopt a Family for Christmas! 🎁

This year, we had the honor of blessing a deserving family with Christmas gifts, household supplies, and food to ensure their holiday was filled with joy and comfort. 💙💙
