Beginning this Thursday, Stop by, grab some coffee, and take a break between classes. It’s also a great chance to meet other graduate students and connect with the School of Graduate Studies.

Get ready for graduate school with a fully online orientation covering the transition to graduate study, university services, library resources, student support, and technology. Representatives from the School of Graduate Studies, University Library, Student Affairs, and Academic Technology will be there to help you start strong.

🎓 Graduate Assistant Orientation

Are you a newly hired graduate assistant? This orientation is required and will help you understand your role and responsibilities as a GA. You’ll learn about graduate assistant employment policies, professional expectations, campus resources, and what you need to know to succeed in your assistantship.

Check-in begins at 3:45 PM. In-person attendance is encouraged, with a synchronous online option available for eligible assistants.

Stop by the School of Graduate Studies to ask questions, get help with registration, and prepare for the semester! Staff will be available to help whether you’re studying in person, online, or at a satellite location.

☕ Snacks and beverages will be available, and you can grab some free St. Cloud State gear!

Campus tours will also be available, leaving at 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM.

🚗 Parking is available in the 4th Avenue Ramp for students who have not already purchased campus parking.
