International Development Program at Eastern University Equipping students and alumni for faithful service around the world! Our heart is to equip people who feel called by God to fight poverty and injustice.

The Masters of Arts in International Development prepares students for faithful service around the world. Our goal is to see the world changed in positive and sustainable ways. Our program serves Christian development leaders for work with a wide range of development organizations, missions agencies, and churches. Students develop strong theoretical and theological frameworks for development, alon

gside the most current practical skills required for this work. All this is facilitated by a team of practitioner-instructors who bring their vast experience from the field into each course.

Internship Opportunity: Applications are open for a 2019 Summer Internship with Next Step Ministries.

Good fit for students interested in ministry, theology, leadership, community development, and youth ministry for these positions over the years. This is a valuable, hands-on opportunity to lead community-focused projects for hundreds of volunteers throughout nine week-long mission trips.

Interns have the opportunity to build relationships with youth pastors, students, and community members while sharing the love of Christ each day.

The positions available are Team Leader, Hospitality Leader, Community Project Coordinator, and VBS Coordinator. Next Step is looking to fill 16 Teams with these positions for Summer 2019.
