Dear Valued Patrons,
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the postponement of the Celebrity Concert Series through December 2020. Unfortunately, we have watched the steady increase of Covid cases in our area and the safety of our patrons has always been our number one priority. At this point in time, we do not feel comfortable proceeding with our season.
We have worked diligently through evaluating our approach, addressing patron concerns, presenting updated plans, and going back to the drawing board numerous times in order to move forward successfully. With our county being evaluated on a weekly basis, we don’t have the time to adequately prepare and plan our events.
After all these considerations we have made the difficult decision to postpone our season until January 2021 when we will reevaluate to be certain we can bring our audiences and artists back safely, preserve the integrity of the Celebrity Concert Series, and offer you an excellent season that you have the right to expect from our organization.
All tickets for canceled shows will be refunded over the coming days. There is no need to contact the DSU Ticket Office to confirm, only keep in mind that it may take time for our staff to address each order and process your refund. We appreciate your continued patience and we apologize for the uncertainty and the last minute change.
For those of you with tickets for CCS events from January to March, no need to worry. Keep your tickets for the time being as we are hopeful in planning to carry out the remaining season. As always we will keep you informed as new developments arise through our website, www.celebrityconcertseries.com, page and emails. We have wonderful performers on our calendar that we hope to present to you in the spring. Although it is unfortunate to miss the incredible line up through December, rest assured we plan to have each group return next year as part of our 2021-22 season.
We truly appreciate your patience and support during this time. It breaks our hearts to cancel when we know the healing power of the arts is so very needed in our communities right now. We are looking forward to getting together soon when it is safe to do so. Please stay healthy and well. We will see you in 2021!
