Volunteer Opportunity!

Summer Camp is almost here and this year the children in our programs are heading Around the World, June 22 – June 26.

We're excited to give our kids a week filled with laughter, learning, crafts, games, food, music, and fun adventures as we "travel" to different countries without ever leaving St. Joe.

To help make this adventure take off, we are looking for: Volunteers (a couple of hours or the whole week!)
- Individually wrapped snacks
- Drinks with less sugar or zero sugar options
- Small toys, Candy, and sugar free candy for piñatas
- Craft Supplies: • Googly eyes • Pipe cleaners • Construction paper • Markers and colored pencils • Brown paper lunch bags • Paper cups

First impressions matter, and if you ask us, MoWest is looking top notch!

A huge thank-you to our amazing staff and student ambassadors who spent the afternoon sprucing up campus ahead of Friday's first GO (Griffon Orientation) session of the summer!

From pulling weeds and picking up litter to making sure every corner of campus is ready to impress, their hard work is helping us roll out the red carpet for our newest Griffons and their families.

We can't wait to welcome them to campus! Let's GO! 🖤💛

Welcome to campus, St. Joseph Safety & Health Council and friends! Wishing you all a great first day of training and many safe miles ahead!

🚗🎉 Today marks the FIRST DAY of our first Driver’s Education session, and we couldn’t be more excited!

We’re looking forward to helping students build safe driving skills, confidence behind the wheel, and lifelong habits that will keep them and others safe on the road.

A huge thank you to our instructors, community partners, families, and students for making this program possible. We can’t wait to kick off another great summer of learning, growth, and safe driving!

Take a look at the incredible year of service and impact our campus has had on St. Joseph and surrounding communities!

This school year, we saw a 14% increase in students earning service-learning credit, hosted 8 service events through the Center for Service, participated in numerous service activities with community partners, and witnessed countless additional acts of service led by academic departments, athletics, and student organizations across campus.

We are incredibly proud of our entire Griffon family for showing such kindness, compassion, and commitment to making the communities we call home a better place for all.

This year’s end of year donation drive provided useable items for 10 area agencies, including: Community Missions, Pivotal Point, YWCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Care Portal, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Grace House, Habitat for Humanity, St. Joseph Quilter’s Guild and Second Harvest Food Bank! 👏👏

In addition, we collected almost 150 lbs of food donations for our own campus cupboard.

Thank you, Griffs!! You all are making a huge impact on individuals all across St. Joseph, as well as keeping your gently used items out of the landfill. 🖤💛🌎
