Throughout the country there are many state, regional, and local junior Angus associations who are actively involved in the NJAA. These groups, with the assistance of the American Angus Association, meet regularly, sponsor shows and field days, and take an active part in the Angus business and promotion of the breed.

âšľ Entries are due June 5th - entries will not be accepted at check-in! Participants can sign up through the AAA Log In Contest Portal!

Make the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport your home base during NJAS 2026! Stay close to the action and inside the official room block before it’s a sell‑out crowd.

The hotel cut-off date is June 9, 2026. Make your hotel reservations now - rooms are limited!

To make changes to your reservation, use your Pipe ID number or email [email protected]. Please do not contact the hotel directly before June 15, as they cannot modify reservations until after that date.

Cancellation Policy:
- Cancel by June 15 at 3 PM ET for a full refund
- After June 15: 1 night room + tax charged
- After July 1: 2 nights room + tax charged
- No-shows: charged 50% of total stay room + tax

âšľ Batter up, Louisville! Step up to the plate and help us welcome our 2026 NJAS Owned Female judges - Jack and Carter Ward. This father-son duo is ready to step up to the plate in the Bluegrass!

Jack Ward – Owned Females Lead Judge: Jack began his career with the American Hereford Association in 2003 and currently serves as executive vice president. He joined the organization as chief operations officer and director of breed improvement, bringing a strong background in genetic advancement and breed leadership to the role. Jack and his wife Mary Ann have two sons and together they operate Ward Brothers Livestock remaining actively involved in raising the selling cattle.

Carter Ward – Owned Females Associate Judge: Carter resides in Plattsburg, Missouri where along with his family he helps run and operate Ward Brothers Livestock where their primary focus is raising elite Angus seedstock. He is also a part owner of Campbell/Ward LLC. where they target raising competitive Hereford cattle. Carter attended Black Hawk East in Kewanee, Illinois and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma where he was on competitive livestock judging and live meat animal evaluation teams.

From the barn to the big leagues, it’s shaping up to be a grand slam week in Louisville. Stay tuned… your time in the ring is coming!
