Meet Pogi! 🎭

We’re thrilled to welcome SJU alum Pogi back to campus as the guest director for our stage reading of The Realistic Joneses.

An actor, director, award-winning playwright, fight director, intimacy director, and producer, Pogi brings a wealth of experience to the director’s chair—and a special connection to the SJU.

Now, he’s returning to help bring this story to life from a new perspective. ❤️

“When I graduated (from St. John’s), I came down to the Children’s Theatre for what was to be a one-year apprenticeship,” Holt said. “At the end of that season, I was invited back for a second season. So, I deferred grad school and stayed on for another year. At the end of that season, I was offered to join their permanent company — so that’s where I’ve been for the last 31 years.”
