Each year, our first-year DPT students select a recipient for the Outstanding Clinical Faculty Award. This award recognizes excellence in clinical teaching for the first-year Integrated Clinical Education (ICE) program. Please join us in congratulating the 2026 recipient of the award, Christina Atkinson, PT, DPT, CFPS is a PT at Ascend Rehabilitation at St. Therese of Woodbury. Students recognize Christina for her compassion and ability to connect with her patients, her commitment to creating a positive learning environment and meaningful learning experiences for students, and her intentionality in providing specific and valuable feedback that helps students grow and learn. Interested in collaborating with St. Kate's DPT program? We are looking for volunteers to assist us with data collection at the MN State Fair. There are various shifts available and you'll get free admission to the fair on the day you volunteer! You'll also get a St. Kate's t-shirt! Our study has participants go through 5 physical performance measure stations (grip strength, gait speed, sit to stand, step test, and a ball toss).
