Hon. (Princess) Olawumi A. Fayemi-Obayelu is a distinguished Nigerian legislator, accomplished entrepreneur, and philanthropist, whose career spans over a decade in corporate leadership, business development, and public service. Born into the royal Akenneyin dynasty of Amapetu’s Palace, Ode-Mahin, Ilaje Local Government Area, Ondo State, she has consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership, governance, and community development.

An alumna of Lagos State University (B.Sc. Business Administration) and Elizade University (MBA, Human Resource Management; M.Sc. Business Administration), Hon. Fayemi-Obayelu also holds an M.Sc. in Human Resource Management from the African Institute of Science, Administration and Commercial Studies, Lome, Togo. She is currently pursuing dual academic doctorates at the University of California, USA, and Elizade University, Nigeria.

A certified Human Resource Practitioner and youngest-ever Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Resources and Strategic Management of Nigeria (2021), she also holds fellowship with the Institute for Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMAN) and numerous professional certifications locally and internationally. Her corporate career includes leadership roles in oil & gas, hospitality, security, fashion, interior design, and logistics.

In politics, she has played pivotal roles in campaign strategy, youth mobilization, and legislative service within the All Progressives Congress (APC), culminating in her election to the 10th Ondo State House of Assembly in 2023. She serves as Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development, Vice Chairman of the OSOPADEC Committee, and an active member of ten other standing committees, including the Public Accounts Committee.

Her legislative tenure is marked by courageous advocacy—most notably as part of the historic “G11 Integrity Group” that opposed an unjust impeachment attempt in Ondo State—and by impactful constituency projects in education, infrastructure, women’s empowerment, and agricultural development, often in collaboration with national and international development agencies.

In recognition of her outstanding leadership prowess, Hon. (Princess) Olawumi A. Fayemi-Obayelu was conferred with the Doctorate Degree in Strategic Leadership (Honoris Causa) by our esteemed University on the occasion of the United Nations Public Service Day 2025, commemorated by the Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria.

Hon. Durosinmi Meseko is a distinguished political scientist, journalist, public relations consultant, and former member of the House of Representatives. A fearless pro-democracy advocate, he was arrested in 1992 while serving as Politics and Foreign Affairs Reporter for Tell Magazine during Nigeria’s military regime. His unwavering commitment to democracy, justice, and transparent governance remains evident throughout his career.

Beyond politics, Hon. Meseko is a passionate philanthropist. He has awarded numerous scholarships, empowered youths and women through various initiatives, and facilitated employment for many Nigerians. His proactive intervention during a fire outbreak at the CBN Headquarters in 2000 earned him commendation from the CBN Governor for averting major damage.

Currently serving as Chairman of the Board at the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI), and as the National Deputy Publicity Secretary of the APC, Hon. Meseko exemplifies patriotism, leadership, and service.

He stands as a true public servant—dedicated, compassionate, and committed to national progress.

Chief (Mrs.) Olufunke Helen Kila is a distinguished leader, philanthropist, and public servant with a career spanning over three decades of impactful service in public administration, community development, and humanitarian work.

Her international engagements include representing Nigeria in several global platforms, such as the Bio-Environment Program in Greece and the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP), where she notably led a delegation of participants from 19 countries. At the national level, she has served in multiple leadership roles across civic and community organizations. These include General Secretary of the Zone 7 Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) Women's Wing and Coordinator of the Maitama Landlords Voice Association of Nigeria (LAVAN). She also holds key roles in the Maistrade Cooperative, advancing women's economic empowerment.

Chief Helen holds esteemed titles in her community, including Iya Egbe Aya Bishop of St. Paul's Church Efon-Alaye and Welfare Officer of the Amethyst Society of St. Matthew's Church Maitama Abuja. Her traditional titles, Yeye Oge of Efon Alaye and Otun Atayese of Igede Ekiti, reflect her cultural influence and the high regard in which she is held in her hometown and across Ekiti State.

As Founder of the Helen Kila Foundation, which will be celebrating 20 years this year, she has dedicated herself to education, youth reorientation, women's empowerment, and medical outreach, directly impacting over 2,000 individuals. The foundation recently expanded its scope with the establishment of the Helen Kila Foundation Multipurpose Cooperative Society to support women in small-scale businesses.

Helen earned her bachelor's degree in History and Education from Lagos State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the Open University Abuja. She served 35 years in the National Directorate of Employment, retiring as a Deputy Director. She is married to Senator Adefemi Kila, and together they have four children and a grandchild.

In recognition of her lifelong contributions to public service and community development, Chief (Mrs.) Olufunke Helen Kila was conferred with the Doctor of Human Letters (Honoris Causa) by our University on the 3rd of July, 2025.

Pastor Faith Igbafe Afegbai is a dynamic minister, passionate intercessor, and visionary leader dedicated to empowering women through her faith-based prayer movement, ABOVE with PFA. This vibrant community gathers weekly on WhatsApp, igniting prayer, purpose, and transformation.

A Barrister and Solicitor, Pastor Faith is also the CEO of Afe Conglomerates, working alongside her husband to drive impact across business and ministry. Her mission is rooted in faith, restoration, and identity, as she raises spiritually alert and purpose-driven women to rise above limitations.

Capt. Chris Onajeke Najomo, the current Director General of Civil Aviation, Nigeria, is a highly distinguished aviation professional with over four decades of outstanding contributions to the aviation industry. His career spans leadership, piloting, and regulatory expertise, marked by an unwavering dedication to safety, excellence, and national service.

A consummate professional, Capt. Najomo has accumulated over 24,000 flying hours across a range of aircraft, including the B727, BAC 1-11, SE210, CE550, EMB120, B737 (600–900 series), and the Airbus 330. His rich experience is reflected in the strategic roles he has held, including Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection and Director of Air Transport Regulation at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Prior to his appointment as DGCA, he served as Chief Pilot at Arik Air and was a Designated Examiner and Type Rating Examiner on several aircraft models.

Capt. Najomo's leadership journey also includes tenure as Managing Director/CEO of Capital Airline and Director of Flight Operations at Albarka Airline, Abuja. His foundational years in aviation began with the Air Traffic Control Assistant Course at the Federal Civil Aviation Authority Training School, Lagos, in 1980. He later earned his Commercial Pilot License (CPL/IRMEL) from the Airline Training Institute in California, USA.

He holds numerous type ratings and certifications from prestigious institutions across the globe, including:

CE550 Rating – American Eagle Aviation, California, USA (1984)

BAC 1-11 Type Rating – Dublin, Ireland (1985)

B727 and B737 NG Type Ratings – Pittsburgh, USA and Luton, UK

Airbus A330 Type Rating – Airbus Training Centre, Miami, USA (2013)

IATA Certificates in Aviation Insurance Law, Transport Economics, and Airline Financial Management – IATA Training Centre, London, UK (2023)

His credentials also include specialized trainings in crew resource management, flight safety, and instructional techniques from leading global aviation centers such as FLT Safety International, SIMCENTRE, and the Florida Light Sport Aviation Academy.

Capt. Najomo is a recipient of multiple awards and recognitions for his exemplary service. He is happily married and blessed with children.
