Did you know the City of Salem is celebrating its quadricentennial (400+) anniversary this year? Made possible by the salem state Salem State University Archives and Special Collections at the Berry Library, a team from Salem State developed a special exhibit running at Old Town Hall in downtown Salem from June 18-Labor day.
"Mapping a Century of Salem, 1926-2026" examines the transformation of Salem and seeks to interpret the city’s history, while sharing personal stories of those who live in, work in, or have had an impact on Salem over the past 100 years. Additionally there are components for the public to add to this collective storytelling.
Free and open to the public Thursdays from 12 to 7 pm and Fridays through Mondays from 10 am to 4 pm
