AWC Announces Incoming Public Relations Secretary

Allegheny Wesleyan College is pleased to announce that Mr. Chris Lefever will begin serving as Public Relations Secretary in July 2027!
Chris is certainly no stranger to our campus! A graduate of Salem Wesleyan Academy, he is set to graduate from AWC in 2027 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Ministry and Cross-Cultural Missions.
For four years, Chris was actively involved in the college's Public Relations ministry, traveling with various groups and representing AWC through music and ministry. This summer, he will once again travel and sing with one of our Public Relations groups.
Chris will also continue contributing to our social media presence, using his photography and videography skills to capture and share campus life and events.
In addition to his Public Relations responsibilities, Chris plans to pursue a master’s degree in music education. He will also begin assisting Mr. Don Quales, Chairperson of the Music Department and College Choir Director, with conducting the college choir.
We are grateful for Chris's dedication to the college throughout his student years and look forward to having him continue serving in this new role. His familiarity with our campus, experience in Public Relations, and love for music and ministry have helped prepare him for this next step in following God's leading.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. Chris Lefever on his new position!

AWC Announces Incoming Public Relations Director

Allegheny Wesleyan College is pleased to announce that Rev. Daniel Hardy, Jr. will assume the role of Public Relations Director in July 2027!
Rev. Hardy brings a wealth of experience in pastoral ministry, Christian education, and educational leadership. He earned his Bachelor of Religious Education from Northwest Indian Bible School and a Master of Arts in Ministry with a focus on Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Throughout his ministry, Rev. Hardy has served in numerous leadership roles, including Principal of Troy Holiness School in Missouri, Pastor of Falconer Wesleyan Methodist Church for six years, and Pastor of Beaver Valley Wesleyan Methodist Church for four years, where he also established a children's outreach ministry.
He later served at Northwest Indian Bible School in Alberton, Montana, as Men's Dean for four years, Principal for one year, and President for four years.
Since 2024, Rev. Hardy has served as Family Life Pastor at Cottage Hill Wesleyan Methodist Church and Upper Learning Supervisor at New Bethlehem Wesleyan Methodist School.
Rev. Hardy will continue serving in his current roles through June 2027 while working closely with our current Public Relations Director, David Duvall II, to ensure a smooth and effective transition.
We are excited to welcome Rev. Hardy to the AWC team as he builds upon the dedicated work of our current Public Relations Director, David Duvall II. We look forward to his leadership in strengthening AWC’s public presence, expanding our outreach, and sharing the mission of the college with a broader audience.

Last Friday we were honored to host the Allegheny Educator's Convention led by Rev. Gabriel Clyde. Administrators and teachers gathered together to learn and grow in this wonderful ministry profession. We were fortunate to engage in sessions presented by Dr. Chris Dewhurst, Rev. Daniel Hellman, our very own Dr. Daniel Forrider, and Education Major Madisen Craig. It was an enriching experience for all who were in attendance.
