Camp Tech Day 3 🚁

CAD campers were working on their 3D print designs, Construction finished up their ring game, and Business campers presented their business proposal to fellow programs.

We're excited to start this week with eager campers on campus to learn about the different programs at Salina Tech.

Whether it's exploring a crime scene with Police Science, practicing CPR with our Early Childhood Education, or throwing sparks with Welding, campers get hands-on experience during the week.

Salina Area Technical College is proud to announce a $50,000 endowment donation from Larry and Stephanie Hettenbach to provide scholarships for students in Allied Health, Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Machine Tool Technology, and Welding Technology!

Larry is a 1974 SATC graduate who went on to a 47-year career in Salina's machining industry, retiring as Senior Vice President at Exline Inc. Stephanie's career spanned banking, software, healthcare, and education. Together, they have called Saline County home for their entire 51-year marriage.

Thank you, Larry and Stephanie, for investing in the future of technical education in Salina! 💙A special thanks to Be Wealth for managing and facilitating this investment for the Hettenbach’s and Salina Tech.
