Founded in the years following emancipation, Livingstone College was created to provide educational opportunities for formerly enslaved people and their descendants. Today, that legacy continues through every student who learns, leads, and serves.

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, a celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress.

Through mentorship, campus involvement, and experiences that challenged him to step outside his comfort zone, he developed the confidence and skills that now allow him to serve on a national stage as the Grand Lieutenant Strategus of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
