Happy Birthday to our Soror Robin J. Smith 🎉

Soror Smith serves as Second Vice President of the Delta Alpha Rho Zeta chapter and was a member of the chapter’s first new member intake class following its chartering in Utah.

With a heart for service and community, Soror Smith recently established a nonprofit focused on strengthening organizations through digital and creative support while also creating opportunities for connection and community among Black families in Utah.

We are grateful for the creativity, service, and dedication she brings to our chapter and our community. Celebrating you today, Soror, and wishing you continued growth, meaningful experiences, and much to celebrate in the year ahead! 💙🤍🕊️

Happy Birthday to our Soror Vanessa Washington! 💙

Soror Washington is a charter member of the Delta Alpha Rho Zeta chapter and has been a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated since joining Zeta at Mississippi Valley State University in 1987.

A trailblazer in leadership, Soror Washington also made history as the first woman to serve as president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council at her university.

Her commitment to service continues today through her work with the food pantry at Calvary Baptist Church in Salt Lake City, helping ensure that members of our community have access to food with dignity and without unnecessary barriers.

We are grateful for the many ways Soror Washington continues to serve our community, our chapter, and our Sisterhood. Celebrating you today, Soror, and wishing you continued fulfillment, wonderful moments, and plenty of reasons to celebrate in the year ahead! 💙🤍🕊️

A special thank you to our chapter delegates for representing the Delta Alpha Rho Zeta Chapter at the 2026 Grand Boulé of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated!

Our delegates were hard at work participating in the business of Zeta by attending legislative sessions, casting votes, and helping shape the future of our beloved Sorority. Their service ensured that our chapter had a voice where it mattered most.

Thank you to our Basileus, Soror Katrina Gillespie, and our Chapter Secretary, Soror Monique Massey, for your dedication, your time, and your willingness to serve on behalf of our chapter. We appreciate all that you do!

Members of the Delta Alpha Rho Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated had a wonderful time attending the Juneteenth Black Family Reunion hosted by Project Success Coalition, Inc. and the Utah Black Chamber.

One of the best parts of the day was connecting with our community here in Utah. We enjoyed seeing familiar faces, meeting new people, and building relationships with community members, organizations, and leaders who are making a difference across our state.

We also had the opportunity to share information about our chapter and raise awareness about the work of March of Dimes and the Stork's Nest program, which supports maternal and infant health. Throughout the event, we had meaningful conversations about the importance of healthy pregnancies, healthy babies, and strong families.

Beyond the conversations, we simply enjoyed being together in community - listening to great music, watching people dance, supporting local vendors, and celebrating the culture, joy, and connections that make events like this so special.

Thank you to the Utah Black Chamber, Project Success Coalition, event sponsors, volunteers, vendors, performers, and everyone who helped make the day a success. We are grateful for opportunities to connect, serve, and celebrate alongside our community.
