University of Utah Center for Emergency Programs Emergency medical education courses offered through the University of Utah open to all members of the community as well as University students.

We teach EMT and AEMT classes, preparing students to take the NREMT certification exams. Healthcare provider The University of Utah Center for Emergency Programs is part of the Department of Health Promotion and Education. We offer classes including first aid, CPR, EMR, EMT, AEMT and remote rescue. Classes are generally open to all members of the community or many classes can be taken for credit toward a degree from the University.
