Internships give students the opportunity to take what they’re learning in the classroom and apply it in real-world professional settings.
Five University of Utah Communication students are doing just that through internships spanning athletics, alumni relations, digital media, film and global communications.
Kaylee Tran gained leadership and organizational experience as a Head Recruiting Intern with Utah Football. Jesse Johnson explored the connection between networking and marketing with the Office of Alumni Relations. Dahye Myoung developed digital content and collaboration skills with IFEZ Global Center, while Emily Quinn Dial gained experience in client communication and event coordination with Filmtek Cloud. Min Jeong Kim strengthened her video production and editing skills as an editor with IFEZ.
Across industries and roles, these students are developing career-ready skills, building professional confidence and discovering new possibilities for where a Humanities education can take them.
