OLLU is having a virtual Greenzone Training on TU, Nov 17 from 14:30-16:30. They are hoping to have students and recent alumni to share their perceptions how OLLU serves our military students and how OLLU could better help veteran affiliated students transition from the military to college.

DATES IDENTIFIED FOR PHASES APPROACH TO RETURN TO ON-CAMPUS OPERATIONS

To prepare the OLLU campuses for the fall semester, a three-phase plan for returning to on-campus operations has been developed and dates have been set for each phase. As the university community works through this plan, flexibility will be key. Assessments will take place during each phase, and adjustments will be made as needed. Employees wishing to volunteer to return to work on campus as part of Phase I must submit the form by Friday, May 29, at noon. Those selected to serve as volunteers during Phase I will be notified via email by Tuesday, June 2. The first workday is June 9. ICYMI:

In an effort to protect our students and employees, all OLLU campuses will be closed beginning Tuesday, March 24 at 5 p.m. All services will be provided through online/remote access. Remote operations will continue until April 16. University administration will assess the situation and provide an update by April 16 on whether campuses will remain closed. Students should check their OLLU email for more info on how to access student services remotely or visit https://www.ollusa.edu/health-safety/emergency-preparedness/coronavirus-information/remote-access.html. Employees should check their university email for instructions.

On Saturday, March 21, 2020, the President signed into law: S. 3503, which clarifies how the Department of Veterans Affairs should treat in-person courses of study that convert to distance learning formats due to health-related situations and other emergencies.
