One year stronger as one university! 🎉

Shovels ready 🏗️ 🎓 Yesterday we broke ground on a new building at the UT Education and Research Center at Laredo. Growth in students and programs has outpaced the current footprint — this new building adds classrooms, teaching labs and research space to grow South Texas’s health care workforce. Laredo is the only place in Texas where students can earn degrees from four separate UT institutions under one roof:

The School of Health Professions received a special recognition for its 50th anniversary at the UTSA Volleyball game against the University of South Florida on Oct. 11! Interim Dean Bridgett Piernik-Yoder was joined by other school representatives, including Assistant Professor Benjamin Enslow, MD, who took the first serve of the game! Thanks to UTSA Athletics for the recognition — and go 'Runners!

Congratulations to the Master of Science in Imaging Sciences Class of 2027! All 21 students in the class passed the certification exam from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (AART)! This impressive accomplishment was celebrated last month when they received their radiologic technologist pins in a special pinning ceremony.
