The Student Government Association (SGA) invites you to our Financial Aid Power Hour! Join us to learn more about important updates to FAFSA and financial aid connected to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OB3) and what these changes could mean for students.

Whether you already receive financial aid, are completing FAFSA for the first time, or simply want to stay informed, this is a great opportunity to get answers, ask questions, and better understand upcoming changes.

SEPTEMBER CHRONICLES | SGA

September was a month full of opportunities to lead, serve, connect, and represent our Jaguar community.

From celebrating the legacy of Senator Frank L. Madla Jr. during Madla Maroon Monday, to giving back through Paws Up, our SGA members continued putting leadership into action.

Our President and Vice President also represented TAMUSA at the Chancellor’s Student Advisory Council (CSAC), connecting with student leaders and System leadership from across The Texas A&M University System.

We also took part in Student Leadership Week, creating opportunities for growth and professional development, and joined Road to the Polls in recognition of National Voter Registration Day, connecting students with civic engagement resources.

September reminded us that student leadership happens in many ways—and every opportunity to serve, learn, and represent makes an impact.

OFFICIAL SGA ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Jags, please take note of an important schedule update!

The Student Government Association (SGA) Senate Meeting originally scheduled for September 25 has been postponed. Our next Senate Meeting will now take place on:

Wednesday, October 2
1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Business Library Hall – Multipurpose Room

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility regarding this change. We encourage students, senators, and members of our campus community to mark their calendars and join us for our next Senate Meeting.
