AUGUST CHRONICLES: SGA
And just like that, August is in the books! 🐆
From preparing for a new academic year and participating in SOLDD to Week of Welcome, the Involvement Fair, our first Taco ’Bout It Tuesday, Convocation, and our first Senate meeting, August was filled with opportunities to connect, lead, and represent our Jaguar community.
Behind every event, meeting, and conversation was one goal: making sure student voices are heard. August gave us the opportunity to introduce our new SGA team, connect with students across campus, and begin laying the foundation for an impactful 2026–2027 academic year.
As we look back on the month, we’re grateful for every student, faculty and staff member, and campus partner who helped make these moments possible. From the conversations at our tables to the work happening behind the scenes, every interaction helped us take another step toward building a more connected and engaged Jaguar community.
Thank you, Jaguars, for making August such a great start to the semester. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited to continue serving, representing, and advocating for our student body throughout the year.
