Our sister Mafer Hernandez had the honor of representing Iota Beta at Alpha Phi’s Disney Leadership Institute! ✨🏰🧸
From building new friendships to growing as a leader, she came home with new perspectives, unforgettable memories, and lessons she’ll carry with her for years to come. 🤍
“I’m so thankful Alpha Phi gave me this opportunity. I came home with new friendships, new ideas, and a completely different perspective on leadership. My biggest takeaway was learning that being a good leader isn’t about always having all the answers—it’s about guiding others, listening, and creating a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing their ideas and being themselves.
Getting to learn alongside Alpha Phis from chapters of all different sizes showed me how special our sisterhood is and how it brings us together, even when we’ve never met before. This experience made me more confident in myself as a leader and reminded me that everyone deserves to have a voice. I’m excited to bring what I learned back to Iota Beta and help create a space where every sister feels comfortable speaking up, sharing ideas, and being creative. Everyone has something valuable to contribute, and I want to be the kind of leader who helps bring that out in others. I’m leaving this experience even more grateful to be an Alpha Phi and excited to make a positive impact on my chapter.” 🤍 - Sister Marifer
