Job opportunity for students graduating in December and want to enter the government sector:
Under general supervision of the Building Official, provides accurate technical analysis of data, plans preparation, and general planning assistance for the Building Department. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and certifications in the field of municipal government. The applicant will have the opportunity to become a certified code officer and obtain various International Code Council (ICC) residential inspector certification if they continue in this position. With experience and training, the applicant will be on a path to become a future Building Official.
