The road to recovery has been complicated and full of twists and turns for Crystal Holland, but it has led her to exactly where she needs to be. Holland turned her life around and found UT San Antonio as a place where she could continue to pursue her life dreams, but she has done so much more than that. She has turned her education and her passion project into something bigger and in between all of that, she has incorporated her degree in mechanical engineering.

Her story is inspiring. Her "why" is incredible. Her passion and drive to help others makes us proud to call her a roadrunner.

Keep going, Crystal. You truly are amazing. Birds up.

Congratulations to the all-freshman UT San Antonio Robotics Team, “Team 210 Robotics,” for securing a global championship title at the Siemens Immersive Design Challenge.

The team of eight’s robot, “RoboRowdy,” aimed at improving mid- to large-scale 3D print farms won over 1,900 other competitors from across the world, making them the first and only university team in the nation to reach this level of the competition.

Appreciate the UT San Antonio teaching team that guided these young innovators, and proud of these students for their perseverance and success that shines a bright light on our City’s talent.
