CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE AT YWLA

SAISD-Young Women's Leadership Academy is ranked #100 in the nation out of approximately 27,000 high schools! While that accomplishment is certainly worthy of celebration, the ranking only tells part of the story.

Led by Principal Priscilla Alfaro, a Texas A&M University-San Antonio alumna, YWLA continues to make an incredible impact throughout our San Antonio community.

Behind that number are incredible students who show up and work hard every day, teachers and staff who believe in them and push them to reach their potential, and families and community stakeholders who support them every step of the way. This collective commitment is what makes a school community special.

Congratulations to the entire YWLA family on this well-deserved recognition. Keep making us proud! 👏🏾🎓
