We are the second largest department in the College of Liberal and Fine Arts with over 900 majors and 24 full-time faculty. We specialize in communication studies with concentrations in Public Relations and Technical Communication at the undergraduate level. We also have an expanding MA Program with over 40 active graduate students. Our graduate faculty specializes in Interpersonal/Small Group Com

munication, Intercultural/International Communication, Organizational Communication and New Media studies. We have a number of faculty researching and teaching in the area of Health Communication. Our department houses two cutting edge Mac computer labs with the latest software, and a nationally ranked debate team. Our students are involved with campus life through several registered student organizations sponsored by the department. Come join us and learn about the exciting world of communication.
