It was another special day for our program as we presented the 8th KeDraun Buckner Memorial Scholarship this spring.
This year’s recipient was Jeremiah Reyes.
It was great celebrating together!
Thanks to those who have attended KB Memorial Games in the past and have contributed to this scholarship fund. KeDraun’s legacy at Skyline continues. 🤙🏾

Congrats to Darrin Lum on earning his Bachelor’s degree from Menlo College!
It’s been an amazing run for Darrin, after not having a senior season in HS due to the pandemic. He worked incredibly hard in our program, added 20 lbs to his frame, and became the top shooter in the state. No player in CA hit more 3’s at a higher % than Darrin. He knocked down 90 3FG’s at 45.9%‼️
He holds the All-Time record for single season FT % (88.7%) and most 3FG’s in a single game (8).
Watching Darrin grow and develop throughout his time in our program, and beyond, has been awesome.

Last week we celebrated Ella’s college graduation. She was born a few months before I accepted the Skyline job, so she’s been around the from day one. She’s heard “How you do anything, is how you do everything” more times than my players. 😂 Ella has embraced that idea.
She earned her degree in Physics with Honors, electing to write and defend an Honors thesis. She graduated summa cm laude. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, received the award for the most outstanding Physics Major in scholarship and enhancing the life of the Physics Department, and received one of the top academic awards presented by the college.
Ella has always made it look so easy, but her academic excellence is based purely on grit, perseverance, and preparation.
We are so proud of her and the impact she continues to have on others. ❤️

Congrats to David Shields on earning his Bachelor’s degree from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Terry is a top 20 undergraduate business school in the country. 💪🏼
David will be continuing at Terry for a Master’s in Business Analytics.

Congratulations to Achilles Woodson on signing his scholarship with San Francisco State. Excited for him to return to the Bay Area and compete at the NCAA D2 level. Also excited that he will be reunited with his former Skyline teammate- Dev Chatha.

Congratulations to Gerald Colvin who now serves as a Deputy in the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department. Gerald (Terra Nova HS) spent time in our program as a player (2015-16) and as an assistant coach (2021-22).
He joins an elite group of young men now serving our community.
It’s a TRADITION LIKE NO OTHER. 💯

Congratulations to Justin on another great PRO season!
This year he led his team in minutes played, assists and steals. He was also top 4 in scoring and rebounding.
Justin was named a KBL All-Star for the 2nd straight year.
This is his 4th season playing as a 1st Division PRO. 🫡
