WHAT WE DO

--> Cultivating collaborative community through outreach to SDSU students and local community members

--> Promoting culturally-specific mental health advocacy

--> Educating about mental health across various disciplines

--> Providing awareness of the diverse career opportunities within the mental health field

People for Inclusive Mental Health Advocacy (PIMHA) is a student organization that strives to prioritize mental health across various disciplines, such as business, criminal justice, nursing and education. We aim to prepare the next generation of mental health advocates and professionals that are representative of today's diverse society. This will be achieved by connecting San Diego State University students with local high school students while promoting the benefits of therapy and culturally specific mental health advocacy.
