The Resource Fair & Carnival Club Rush came through with games, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, student resources, and apparently a campus full of professional pitchers. Not even our president was safe!

Congratulations to Melinda Nguyen, Graphic Design student at San Diego City College, whose artwork won the district-wide competition and became the official SDCCD Pride shirt. 🌈

The SDCCD has had a presence in the San Diego Pride Parade since it began more than 40 years ago, and this is the eighth year the district marches together as a contingent. Members of the district’s Board of Trustees will take part in the celebration, and representatives from every college – City, Mesa, Miramar, and the College of Continuing Education – will be there, too.

The Parade is set to start at 10 a.m. and follows a 1.5-mile-route beginning at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Avenue and Normal Street, continues west on University Avenue, turns south on Sixth Avenue and left onto Balboa Drive and ends at Quince Drive. See you there!
