The MESA program focuses on creating a supportive community that fosters academic and career readiness, promoting holistic well being, with the goal of empowering MESA scholars with the knowledge, skills and mindset to excel in college and beyond.

Eligibility Requirements
* 1st Generation College Student: (Parent(s) does not have a bachelor’s degree or higher level of education in any country).
* Student intends to transfer to a four-year institution
* Student intends to declare a transfer major in a calculus-based Math, Engineering or Science field
* Student does not have a previous Bachelor’s degree in any field
* Recipient of need-based Financial Aid.
* Educationally Underserved
* Be a U.S. citizen, resident, or AB 540/DACA
