โจ ODU โ An Online Exhibition
What can art reveal about memory, territory, ancestry, and resistance?
The Digital Brazil Project at San Diego State University invites you to experience ODU, an online exhibition that brings together theater, performance, embroidery, lace, painting, and installation in dialogue with Afro-diasporic cultures, African-origin religions, cosmologies, and ancestral knowledge.
The exhibition explores the intersections between art, ancestry, displacement, territory, and Black radical imagination โ creating new ways of connecting past, present, and possible futures.
๐จ Featured artists: Sheyla Ayo, Myra Gomes, Rafael Segatto, and Luciano Oliveira
