USD Military and Veterans Program We are the central place for military-connected student resources, involvement, networking and the Student Veterans Organization.

The Veterans Center serves as the dedicated site for our military-connected students to gather. It is responsible for the administration of all US Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits processing and is dedicated to making the educational experience second to none for our military-connected students attending USD on a GI Bill® allowance. The Veterans Center has places for meetings and

study, a TV lounge for relaxing, and provides a break room area for student use. The center is managed by the Veteran Student Services Coordinator Amanda Etter, houses the VA Certifying Official, a Graduate Assistant and VA student workers. We are the central place for military-connected student resources, involvement, and the Student Veterans Organization.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), an annual month to raise public awareness about sexual assault, educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence, and show support for survivors.

Please help USD’s Military and Veterans Program better understand the current military-connected student experience, both inside and outside the classroom. Your feedback lets us know how we can better meet your needs.😇

Additionally, your feedback will directly influence the USD’s potential new, Military-Connected Center of Excellence (MCCE), which would expand the services MVP provides. The data gained from the Survey will be used to inform the programs, offices, and resources to better support a large and growing military-connected population.
The Survey should take about 10 minutes, and the information you provide will be kept confidential.
