📚 Book Talk: We kicked off Thursday with an inspiring book talk by author and Alumni Honors recipient Ricardo Valerdi'00 (EE), diving into impactful insights and engaging discussions.
🏆 Alumni Honors: That evening, Ricardo was honored alongside an extraordinary cohort of 2026 Alumni Honors recipients, recognizing their remarkable achievements and leadership.
🥂 Annual Homecoming Brunch: USD’s Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering hosted our annual Homecoming Brunch, welcoming over 100 alumni, families, friends, faculty and faculty!

Want an interactive, immersive experience to kick off your weekend? Check out ExSJ's Insight Gallery, hosted in the Palomar Health Student Wellness Center lobby today and tomorrow (Oct. 8-9)!

Every piece in the exhibit was created by a blind or low-vision artisan. Some of the artwork is tactile and several pieces include audio recordings so you can hear directly from the artisans about their work and stories.

Light refreshments will be served plus a chance to win a ticket to In the Dark — a sensory and dining experience held on Saturday, Oct. 10th at La Gran Terrazza!
