PLNU alum Jonathan Pickett’s new short film, A New Inferno, follows the Phoenix Fire Department as they respond to the growing danger of urban heat. Filmed during 12- to 16-hour days in temperatures up to 118 degrees, the documentary captures both the urgency of climate change and the compassion of first responders working to save lives in real time.

This PLNU alum is making waves in filmmaking, telling the stories of climate change and urban heat in his latest project, 'A New Inferno.'
