SDSU S.M.A.R.T Club Student-Mentored Academic Research Training Club We hope to combine knowledge and resources to fill this void. There is no cost to join SMART Club.

Student-Mentored Academic Research Training (SMART) Club at SDSU is a group comprised of undergraduate students in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields whose common goal is to maintain a collaborative and supportive environment by sharing resources and information related to research opportunities and graduate programs. SDSU has a number of opportunities to help students in

the STEM fields succeed, but there is not one designated place on campus to tell students about all of their options for research, scholarships, and graduate school for students who are not on a health careers track. Anyone enrolled as an undergraduate at San Diego State University can join this club, regardless of current major or career goals. There is no time commitment to join SMART Club. We simply wish to help disseminate information about resources for undergraduates in the STEM fields, and ask that you share any information that may be useful to other students in your field. No matter where you are on your path in the STEM fields, we hope you'll stop by some of our meetings or check out our website for peer support and resource sharing! ATTENTION PSYCHOLOGY Students!!!!

Northwestern's psychology department is hosting a program on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th for undergraduates who are members of traditionally underrepresented groups (including first generation college students), and who are potentially interested in pursuing graduate study in psychology. Activities will include a workshop designed to help with the graduate school application process and opportunities to meet psychology department faculty members and graduate students to learn what graduate school is like and how they might fit into the graduate programs and laboratory groups at Northwestern. Travel and accommodation costs associated with participation will be covered, and the application process will be fast and free (applications are due by April 14th @ 5 pm). If you know of any relevant students who may be interested in this program, I would be very grateful if you could bring it to their attention! You can simply direct them to our website for more information:

The Psychology Sneak Peek is a great opportunity for traditionally underrepresented students considering a PhD in psychology to attend a preview weekend at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
