The Journal of Marital and Family Therapy (JMFT), the flagship journal in the field of CFT has selected a winner for the first annual "JMFT best article of the year" award. A big congratulations to Dr. Jason Platt (Mexico City Counseling Psychology Program Director) and former San Diego CFT Alliant faculty member Dr. Tracey Laszloffy on being selected as the receipt of this year's award for their paper entitled: "Critical Patriotism: Incorporating Nationality into MFT Education and Training."

JMFT had an acceptance rate of less than 7% of the articles that were submitted in 2013. This speaks volumes about the quality of the manuscript that Drs. Platt and Laszloffy contributed to the field. CONGRATULATIONS from all at Alliant International University on this accomplishment!
