Last week, the Healthcare Education team attended the 20th Substance Use Disorder and Integrated Care Conference, presented by the California Department of Health Care Services.

Our team had the opportunity to share information about California’s new SUD counselor education requirements and the free, 80-hour core competency training offered through the ASCEND program at UC San Diego Extended Studies, supported by the California Department of Health Care Services.

We’re proud to contribute to this important work and help expand access to education for SUD counselors.
