Audiences are awaiting the highly anticipated theatrical release of Robert Eggers newest feature film ‘Nosferatu’. A remake of a classic horror story follows Count Olok’s character (Bill Slarsgãrd) as it stalks a young woman (Lily-Rose Depp) and the chilling events that follow.🧛

Fans and followers of ‘Nosfaratu’ feel that Eggers fits the bill as the director to remake the story considering he did a short play of the events and has always gravitated towards the horror film genre.😱

If you can’t wait until its release on December 25th check out some of Egger’s other critically acclaimed works such as; ‘The VVitch’, ‘The Northman’, and ‘The Lighthouse’.🎬

You can even dive into the history of ‘Nosferatu’ with its multiple remakes over the decades.

Let’s talk about Biopics. Always controversial but always in the works it seems. You either love it or hate it as these films are adapting real life stories of celebrities that we have grown so attached to. ⭐️

‘A Complete Unknown’ starring Timothee Chalamet as a young Bob Dylan directed by James Mangold releases this December.

‘Back to Black’ featuring Marisa Abela as Amy Winehouse directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson released earlier this year and had very low and contested reviews.

‘The Apprentice’ starring Sebastian Stan as a young Donald Trump directed by Ali Abassi releases this December and remains highly anticipated in the wake of the recent election.

‘Michael’ starring Michael Jackson’s real nephew Jaafar Jackson and directed by Antoine Fuqua is being pushed later into 2025.

Rumors of the cast of the new The Beatles biopics (four of them) are circling as Barry Keoghan is set to play Ringo Starr in the eventual films.

‘Maria’ starring Angelina Jolie as opera singer Maria Callas directed by Pablo Larrain also hits select theaters today.

Wicked is heading towards being the third biggest domestic box office opening of the year with $117 million, only behind Deadpool and Wolverine and Inside Out 2!

But, Gladiator still had an amazing opening weekend with a projected $60 million! ⚔️

They are doing early access screenings with limited edition merchandise which includes Wicked themed lunch boxes and thermoses!☕️

Alamo Drafthouse is also doing a movie party, which they describe as an “interactive, prop-filled, and uniquely Alamo screening where we all get a little silly while watching our favorite film”. This sounds wickedly fun to me!💚
