The Masters of Science in Energy Systems Management is designed for people who seek the skills and knowledge to work in the dramatically changing world of electrical generation, distribution, conservation and use, with a focus on renewable energy. The program equips students with knowledge in three broad areas, where electrical energy systems reside: policies and regulations, economics and finance

, and technology. The program covers the societal aspects of technology development and adoption - including the economic, policy and behavioral components of energy use - and provides an overview of the technical aspects of energy production and use. in Energy Systems Management are prepared for employment in the public, private, and non-profit sectors - including work at utility companies (electricity & water), government agencies in regulation and compliance, solar power companies or other renewable energy generators, and non-profits engaged in promoting renewable energy and conservation.
