The members of the San Francisco SGA are a group of fun, friendly, empowered, and dedicated student leaders across programs and cohorts who feel strongly that graduate school is about more than just course work and practicum. We are passionate and purposeful in our efforts to get the most out of our programs: education, friendships, networking, personal and professional development, and more. Each

year, we host and support dozens of important, free events that challenge our campus community to grow, enhance friendships and networking, nourish cultural humility, and bolster our credentials. The SGA meets once a month and works throughout the year to promote and facilitate the needs of the Alliant community educationally, professionally, and socially. We advocate for students, promote student welfare, and foster campus communication and cooperation. As SGA has enhanced its efforts in the last several years, we have dispersed over $5,000 in scholarships, created a Quiet Space, and hosted 40+ events which have focused on a number of topics including social justice, professional development, and fostering campus community.
