Golden Gate University is excited to announce that California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, CPA will serve as the keynote speaker for this year’s Commencement ceremony, to be held on Sunday, April 27th at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. A proud GGU alumna with a Master’s in Taxation, Treasurer Ma’s extraordinary career in public service is a testament to the values of leadership, public service, and community that define our university.

In honor of her outstanding contributions, Treasurer Ma will receive an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree during the commencement ceremony. We are proud to welcome Treasurer Ma back to GGU as we celebrate the achievements of our graduates in 2025.
